Iron Ranger Relocation
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Move existing iron ranger 25 yards closer to parking lot at William B. Ide Adobe State Historic Park to provide easier access for park visitors. Work will:
* Grind out remaining oak tree stump;
* Dig two, 2 foot deep holes- one each for the iron ranger and fee collection sign;
* Remove iron ranger and fee collection sign from existing locations and place in new location;
* Pour concrete over bare ground between new iron ranger location and existing sidewalk to provide easy access to iron ranger.
Minor public alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees and the placement of minor structures accessory to existing facilities and is included as "installation of signs and fee collection devices" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR section 1500.4; involves minor public alterations in the condition of land which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees; and consists of minor alterations to pubic facilities involveing no expansion of use.
