Document Description
Restore original hardwood flooring and replace historic/non-historic carpets within the first and second floors of the Governor's Mansion to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and current Public Health and Safety standards. Work will: Sand and Refinish Governor's Mansion first floor historic hardwood floors (large sample of original hardwood finish of Dining room and first floor closets will be preserved as a large representative sample of original finish); Archive and replace historic wall to wall carpeting in the tour areas and bedrooms within first and second floors with same quality and color appropriate reproduction carpeting period representative carpet sample each room will be preserved and archived).
