Document Description
The LADWP proposes to replace the existing, deteriorating 361,210 square-foot flexible membrane floating cover of the reservoir with a new cover. The design of he new floating cover will be based on the design of the existing floating cover with small modifications based on observations of the real life conditions of the current cover. The floating cover shall be the industry standard black. Based on a dive inspection conducted by the California Department of Health (DPH) wherein multiple damages and degradation was discovered, the LADWP needs to replace the cover as soon as possible at the requirement of DPH.
