Document Description
This proposed project consists of removing an old low water crossing and replacing with a new low water crossing. The new crossing will consist of three box culverts (12' long x 8' wide x 3' high) placed side by side which will be anchored to the stream bank by cement footings (2' wide x 3' high). Roadway approaches on both sides of the new crossing will also be reconstructed. On the (West) side of the structure the road approach will incorporate a critical dip (designed low spot) to direct water around the structure during high flows. Additionally, the upstream and downstream approaches will be armored with 12" plus rock to reduce the possibiliy of the crossing damage to the approached during high flows.
