Document Description
Project proposes to upgrade the existing baseball facilities, including the replacement of the existing temporary clubhouse and restroom facilities, provision of new spectator grandstands, press box, dugouts, entrance gates, and integrated landscape and amenities. All utility connections are local to the site and no work outside of the existing ballpark footprint (in canyon to south or open space to east) would occur. The play season is January through May and typically involves 30 or less games played at home. Of those more than half are played on weekends and the rest after 6pm on weekdays. Attendance at home games ranges from 80 to 530. No change in use is proposed, and upgrades would not substantially increase capacity of the facility, but rather provide a collegiate level playing facility, with more comfortable facilities for players as well as spectators and potential donors.
