Document Description
The project will acquire from the Placer Land Trust approximately 416.5 acres of land (Placer County APNs 073-261-025-000, 073-270-001-000, 073-270-004-000, 073-261-065-000, and 073-261-067-000) approximately 10 miles northeast of the City of Auburn that is adjacent to the California State Parks Auburn State Recreation Area at no cost. The topography of the site is a river incised steep sloped canyon at the base of bordering hillsides with vegetation typical of he Sierra Nevada foothill scrub including Manzanita, oak and pine trees. This action will help preserve the beauty of the area, open space and habitat.
