Document Description
The project is limited to remediation contaminated soil at the Pacific Rod and Gun Club (PRGC) as required by the Regional Water Quality Control Board Site Cleanup Requirements Order No. R2-2013-0023. The soil is contaminated from shotgun shells and clay targets used at the PRGC, both of which contain toxic substances including lead and polycycle aromatic hydrocarbons. Remediation will consist of excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soils in upland areas and along the shoreline of Lake Merced. The project covered under the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0353-R3 CDFW is executing pursuant to Section 1602 Fish and Game Code, is limited to the activities associated with remediation only along the shoreline and in or near freshwater and marsh wetlands.
