CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0359-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Liberty Ranch, LLC. The project is limited to the development of approx. 351.5 acres into 1,444 dwelling units consisting of residential, parks, and open spaces. Nearly all of the project area will be graded including Deadman Gulch. Modifications to Deadman Gulch include widened channel corridor to create a meandering low flow channel and floodplain. Five off-channel water-quality basins and outfall structures will be created to treat stormwatetr runoff prior to discharge into the channel. Several Box culverts will be installed at grade along Deadman Gulch to facilitate flows. A series of agricultural drainage features will be filled in part of this project. Approx. 40 riparian trees will removed as part of this project.
