The proposed project includes annexation of approximately 504 acres and development of approximately 338.6 acres of land for mixed residential neighborhood uses, including low density, medium density, and high density residential, parks, open space, schools, and minor commercial and public facilities for a total of 1,745 residential units and 125,000 sf. The 338.6-acre portion of the project site proposed for development is known as Liberty Ranch. The remaining portion of the project site consists of 148 acres of non-participating properties, including numerous rural residences and Liberty Ranch High School, Estrallita Continuation High School, and a 17.4 acre Future Growth Area, which includes the UPRR right-of-way and two triangle parcels south of the UPRR tracks. The non-participating properties or the Future Growth Area are not proposed for development at this time.
