- The CWPP includes public outreach, agency coordination, and implementation fo wildfire preparedness, prevention, and response actions throughout Metro Fire District Boundaries. Fire prevention actions include fuel treatment (including areas within the American River Parkway and around subdivisions adjacent to wildlands), restoration of burned areas, and prescribed burning; irrigation system repair; and construction of new fire access road.
