Document Description
Development of a dairy processing, packaging and distribution plant. This business would operate 24 hours a day, seven days per week, utilizing three shifts, with approximately 20 persons per shift. The project includes a 116,287 s.f. building, including a 10,000 square foot office area, a 50,000 square foot warehouse area and a 52,482 square foot manufacturing area. On-site structures include 73 foot tall silo tanks and a 135 foot tall drying tower. The project includes parking for 70 vehicles, based on the number of employees anticipated. The project number of vehicle trips per day is 100. Approximately 40 tanker trucks of raw milk would be delivered to the plant per day and 3-5 trucks of other types of deliveries are anticipated. There will also be approximately 5-10 reefer trucks of product shipped out each day. Domestic water needs are estimated at 200,000 gallons per day and estimated sewage per day is 200,000 gallons. Landscaping and other on-site improvements, as well as street frontage improvements associated with the project would also be developed.
