Document Description
Caltrans proposes to construct a covered material storage bin. cover an existing wash pad, and install an oil/water separator in the stormdrain system at the Pulga Maintenance Station. The storage bin would be 64 feet wide, 23 feet deep and 15 feet high. It would store cinder and de-icing agents used in wintertime snow and ice removal operations. The bins would be located inside the maintenance station yard next to a paved outdoor storage area. An existing vehicle wash pad would have a metal roof built over it, and the existing stormdrain system would have an oil/water separator installed to treat stormwater leaving the property. All work would take place inside the maintenance yard, and would take approximately 20 days to complete.
