Document Description
The Salinas Valley Water Project, Phase II (Project) will consists of two surface water diversion facilities and accompanying facilities for conveyance and delivery of diverted water. The capture and diversion facilities will be located at two distinct locations: one near the City of Soledad and one south of the City of Salinas. The Project will deliver surface water to the Pressure and East Side subareas of the Salinas River Groundwater Basin in order to reduce groundwater pumping and halt seawater intrusion.
