Note: Extended Review The County is proposing to amend its General Plan to include policies for solar energy development within the County. The proposed Renewable Energy General Plan Amendment (REGPA) involves identifying new and modified General Plan goals, policies, and implementation measures, including provisions for actual sites identified in the County that may be appropriate for renewable energy development (SEDAs). The overall purpose of the proposed project is to regulate and constrain the type, sitting, and size of future renewable energy (solar) development within the County through adoption of land use policies that are consistent with and meet the broader goals and visions for the County as expressed in the Inyo County General Plan.
