Document Description
The proposed project consists of an upgrade of an upgrade of an existing Beachwood Pump Station and replacement of the Force Main between the Beachwood Pump Station and the BWRP. The major features include: 1) Replace three existing 150-hp closed-impeller pumps with new 150-hp open impeller pumps, 2) Custom-fabricate fittings to retrofit new pumps into piping designed for old pump dimensions, 3) Replace suction and discharge isolation and check valves, 4) Re-coat wet well with polymer liner, 5) Improve or modify odor control facilities, and 6) Integrate new pumps with variable frequency drive (VFDs) and controls.
