Document Description
The project consists of demolition of the existing building and construction of a single-story 15,500 sf mental health rehabilitation center. The center would be located at the same location as the existing location as the existing building and utilize the existing parking areas to the extent feasible. The building would include administrative space, program space, 15 patient bedrooms, dining room, commercial kitchen and related support spaces. In keeping with the design standards for this area, the exterior of the building would follow Spanish Mediterranean style architecture. The proposed center would be operated as a secure residential facility (live-in patients), locked for patient safety, with staff on-site 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
