Document Description
The OHMVR Division has approved acquisition of an approximately 230-acre parcel of unimproved land adjacent to an active SVRA. The project purpose is to acquire the property to ensure future developments and uses are compatible with off-highway vehicle recreation and other existing activities at Prairie City SVRA. The OHMVR Division has not yet developed plans for the site, and the land use will not change unless additional environmental reviews has occurred. Until plans for the site can be developed and implemented, the property will be closed to public entry and managed to preclude trespass, garbage dumping, or other undesired activities. Any future development and/or use plans are subject to CEQA review.
