Document Description
The proposed action is geotechnical drilling operation and adjacent to the paved areas on the State Route 101 at the Dr. Fine Memorial Bridge. The purpose is to characterize the site and provide subsurface information required for final design. Biological, cultural, water quality, and hazardous waste reviews have been completed by qualified specialists and there are no anticipated effects on these resources. In order to ensure this, the following measure are included: 1) water required for drilling will be supplied by truck mounted tanks. No water will be drafted from the Smith River. 2) Spill and leak prevention will be implemented for chemicals and hazardous substances on the project site. 3) No trees or shrubs will be removed.
