Document Description
The project would relocate the existing Facilities Yard from Parking Lot 15 to a former construction staging area (both the existing and proposed sites are within the Northwest zone) bound by Easton Stadium to the west, Sunset Boulevard to the north, and DeNeve Drive to the south. It would accommodate approximately 40,000 square feet of secure yard space and construct a 2,000 gsf (1,000 ogsf 50%) covered-unenclosed plant shade house. The proposed project would provide an operationally-efficient Facilities Yard designed to serve the entire campus that includes a waste recycling/transfer station, material storage yard, and staging/recycling area for plants and gounds materials. Fully enclosed shipping containers or covered-open containers would be incorporated into the project designed for stockpiled electronic waste and earth materials that have regulatory requirements for handling of hazardous materials and/or storm water pollution prevention.
