Document Description
The project is the addition and transfer of four (4) privately held parcels totaling 205.39 acres with development potential into the County of San Diego's adopted Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) South County Subarea Plan planning area, and included in the County's Multiple Habitat Planning Area (MHPA) in the Ramona grasslands core resource area of the Metro-Lakeside-Jamul segment. The parcels will be added for conservation/mitigation purposes (no development of these parcels is anticipated under this amendment) and managed through a long-term management plan (LTMP) in perpetuity for biological resources by a qualified land manager approved by both the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
