Document Description
The project consists of reconstruction of the general aviation aircraft parking apron. The apron is approximately 173,000 square feet and provides resident and transient aircraft parking. During construciton, temporary stockpiles of excavated asphaltic concrete will be stockpiled on disturbed ground adjacent to the apron, and then reused as based in the reconstructed apron.
The purpose of the prject is to improve aircraft operation safety and prolong the useable life of he apronh. The apron is severely cracked and raveling, creating loose material that can cause damage to aircrafts.
