Document Description
CHP proposes to acquire 5.29 acres of land bounded by Pioneer Trail Drive on the north/northwest, Donner Pass/Lincoln Hwy on the east, and Interstate 80 on the south in Truckee, Nevada County, California. The site was formerly used by the US Forest Service. The property is proposed to be used for the relocation and replacement of the CHP Valley Division Truckee Area Office and Dispatch Center. The current building and service structures are inadequate to house the number of employees, related equipment, and other support needs. Future actions, to include development of the property, will undergo a complete environmental compliance review under CEQA when a project description and project funding is available.
