Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0212-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Pittsburg. The project is limited to adding new sheet piles along the entire project site frontage of New York Slough (200 ft long, except at the slipway and inlet slip), creation of a 60-ft wide by 80-ft deep slipway (boat ramp), and creation of a 40-ft wide by 80-ft deep inlet slip, and a 65-ft by 20 ft landing on the obstructed area of seawall between the new slipway and inlet slip that will provide moorage of marine vessels and access to vessels. The new sheet piles will be installed within the footprint of the existing riprap in order to stabilize the bank. An existing concrete dock measuring 10 ft by 20 ft that was built into the existing shoreline will also be removed. The site improvements would facilitate the docking of vessels within the inlet slip for in-water maintenance, vessel support, fueling, loading and offloading.
