- CDPR, OHMVR Division has awarded grant funds to the Eldorado National Forest for rehabilitation projects at 19 work sites along the Gold Note OHV Trail System. The project includes surfacing, defining boundaries, and rehabilitating designated OHV trailheads; blocking access to unauthorized trails and roads; designating additional trailhead/staging areas already used informally; installing a vault toilet; ripping and rehabilitating dispersed camping areas; installing gates on two roads; rerouting 1,000 feet of trail and rehabilitating the old section of trail; and blocking access to unauthorized hill climbs and rehabilitating areas that have been damaged by unauthorized OHV use.
