Elements of the proposed project include: levee improvements to approx. 4 miles along the Natomas East Main Drain Canal/Steelhead Creek and Arcade Creek Levees; levee improvements to approx. 6 miles of the Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) in the Little Pocket and Pocket areas; soil erosion repair on the SREL; removal of high-hazard encroachments and vegetation along segments of the Arcade Creek, American River, Beach Lake, and SREL levees to accredit the levees; a corridor management plant, and conservation strategy.
