Document Description
The project will include work on the inlet of the Reach 13B side channel. The footprint of impact for the inlet of Reach 13B will be approximately 0.34 acres, comprised of approximately 0.29 acres of riparian habitat and 0.05 acres of open channel habitat, along a 150 linear foot section of Dry Creek. Specifically, work will include
excavation of approximately 150 linear feet of the existing Reach 13B side channel, addition of riffle substrate, installation of 9 associated log structures, and a boulder field of 36 boulders in the mainstem of Dry Creek. In total, this project will enhance approximately 0.14 acres of aquatic habitat and 0.11 acres of riparian habitat along 150 linear feet. The remaining 0.09 acres of riparian habitat in the project footprint will be temporarily impacted and will be revegetated after construction is complete. A maximum of 15 trees will be removed as part of this project.
