Document Description
ACWD proposes the installation of six groundwater monitoring wells at four sites in the southern and western sections of the Niles Cone Groundwater Basin. The purpose of drilling these wells is to explore the subsurface geology in this sensitive area where DWR has documented inferred major depositional channels to further evaluate the extent of brackish water near the Mowry Wellfield. The completed project will consist of below-ground well installations with at grade surface completion.
