Document Description
The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District proposes to install a new lake water collection system to replace the aging water collection infrastructure currently located off Point Hamiltair in Lake Arrowhead. LACSD proposes to install a new, below-ground on-shore pumping station in a paved area off High Knoll Road, which will connect to a new, submersible triple pump water intake system that will be installed approximately 600 feet from the shore at Point Hamiltair. LACSD will also replace the three existing, aging steel pipes with new pipes, to connect the on-shore pump station with the submerged water supply intake pump structure. Specifically, the project proposes to upgrade the existing facilities in order to draw approximately 3,500 gallons per minute or 1,566 acre feet per year of raw water from the bottom of Lake Arrowhead and deliver that deliver that water to the shoreline pump station, for pumping to the Bernina Water Treatment Plant, located at 27166 Bernina Drive, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
