Document Description
Madera Irrigation District has prepared an IS and Proposed Neg Dec to analyze the potential environmental consequences associated with (1) the storage and conveyance of up to 25,000 acre-feet of non-CVP water in Friant Division facilities, and/or storage of up to 36,000 acre-feet of non-CVP water at any one time in Hidden Unit facilities, from 2013 to 2043, and (2) an additional point of delivery of up to 500 acre-feet of non-CVP water to be delivered to Fresno County Waterworks #18 facilities for ultimate delivery to Table Mountain Rancheria ("TMR"). This includes the execution of (1) an agreement between MID and the Bureau authorizing MID to introduce, store and/or convey in Federal facilities up to 36,000 AF of Fresno River Non-Project Water during the period of March 1, 2014, through February 28, 2019, and (2) an agreement between MID and the Bureau authorizing MID to introduce, store and/or convey in Federal Facilities up to 25,000 AF of Soquel Non-Project Water during the period of March 1, 2014, through February 28, 2019.
