Document Description
The Eastern Municipal Water District's proposes to construct and operate a relief sewer located along Front Street in Old Town Temecula, Riverside County. The purpose of the project is to provide added sewer capacity to support growth within the Old Town Temecula area. The project would use a tunneling method to install the new sewer under the sidewalk along the south side of Front Street. The new sewer includes the installation of approximately 3,100 linear feet of 15-inch diameter pipeline in parallel with an existing 8-inch diameter sewer pipeline. Vertical shafts up to 12-feet in diameter would be constructed at street intersections to facilitate the tunneling work under the sidewalk. Drop manholes would be installed along with interconnections between the existing and new sewer, at the intersections of Front Street at Moreno Drive, Second, Third, Fourth and Sixth Streets. The interconnections between the new and existing sewer would use eight-inch diameter pipes. Access manholes would also be installed at the intersections of Front Street at Fifth, Main and First Streets.
