Document Description
The CPUC approved SCE's Proposed Project with incorporation of the Tower Relocation Alternative, which will move select towers farther from existing residences, and the Iowa Street 66 kV Underground Alternative, which will underground a 1,600 foot segment of new 66 kV sub transmission line near residences. The approved Project will remove existing 220 kV transmission structures and replace with new structures along a 45 mile existing transmission line right of way. The Project extends from Devers Substation (North Palm Springs) to Vista Substation (Grand Terrace) and San Bernardino Substation (San Bernardino).
