Document Description
The proposed project is the construction and operation of the on-campus Parking Structure 2 facility needed to alleviate the current shortage of parking for the University students, faculty, and staff. The parking structure will replace existing surface parking in the southern area of the campus in lots K1 and K2 that provide approximately 600 parking spaces with a new facility with 1,800 parking spaces. The structure design includes placing one level of parking underground and one level at grade at the entire site, and one level of parking above ground on the portion of the site currently used for parking lot K1. The structure amenities will include a pedestrian walkway with a landscape buffer on both sides and shuttle bus stops. The facility is anticipated to be completed in Fall of 2016.
