- Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) has issued an emergency permit to Sacramento City College (Sac City) to treat hazardous waste by chemical stabilization in containers. The waste to be treated consists of 4 containers of hazardous waste compounds (Compound) by chemical stabilization. It has been determined that the Compound may be highly reactive and must be stabilized prior to being transported offsite. The containers of Compound are expired and currently sotred in a laboratory located at 3835 Freeport Blvd in Sacramento.
