Document Description
The proposed project (Project) will retrofit and improve pipeline corrosion detection on the BETA off shore existing 16-inch oil pipeline from Platform Elly to shore. The pipeline has been in service since 1984, and the existing 16-inch oil pipeline from Platfrom Elly to shore. The pipeline has been in service since 1984, and the existing cathodic protection (CP) system is approaching the end of its 30 year design life. The proposed CP system retrofit will improve the accuracy and repeatability of the survey data collection in order to better predict and estimate the actual conditions of the pipeline coating and CP system. The proposed Project would include installation of one Test Point, one SubMar Mat over the Test Point location, one Retromat, and two associated wire cables.
