Document Description
Shoshone Landfill is an approximately 50-acre existing landfill site located 1 Mile East of Shoshone, CA, accessed via gravel road off Hwy 178. This facility is cloased to the public and is only open to the Inyo County Road Department. On December 16, 2013, the Inyo County Environmental Health Department accepted for review the permit application package to the Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP) from Inyo County Integrated Waste Managemen requesting a revision to update the ownership of the landfill property from the Bureau of Land Management to the County of Inyo which ocurred via a land patent date March 13, 2012.
