Document Description
The proposed project would remove a 6,000 gallon above-ground storage tank (AST) and associated appurtenances from the Tracy CHP Area Office and transport the AST to the Quincy Area Office. Appropriate transportation permit(s) will be obtained prior to relocation of the AST. Installation of the AST at the Quincy Area Office also includes associated fueling appurtenances, including dispensers, fuel management system, bollards, monitoring systems, and security fencing. Parking lots will be re-paved and re-striped to comply with the American with Disabilities Act. If soil contamination related to the fueling system is discovered, the project may also include removal of up to 50 tons of contaminated soil.

The scale of the hazardous waste removal action proposed is considered a minor cleanup action. Any removal action will comply with applicable State and local environmental permitting requirements.
