Lower Clear Creek Anadromous Fish Habitat Restoration and Management Project

Implement anadromous fish restoration and management actions in the lower Clear Creek watershed. There are 12 specific restoration sites included under the proposed project located between Whiskeytown Dam and the lower Clear Creek / Sacramento River confluence. All restoration sites are located on federally owned lands with the exception of one site (Placer Road Bridge), which is located on private land; and one site (Saeltzer Gorge) which is located on public lands owned by the State of California and Bureau of Land Management. There are two primary project components: (1) gravel augmentation at selected reaches of lower Clear Creek; and (2) installation of instream habitat structures at various locations within lower Clear Creek.
