The proposed project consists of various improvements to the existing water treatment, storage, and conveyance facilities, including 1) install equipment for the ozone treatment process, equalization tank, aeration system, backflow prevention, and acid feed system; 2) replace and/or upgrade High Service Pumps 2 and 3; 3) install piping for backwash flows and tank drainage; 4) maintain equipment with corrosion protection improvements; 5) replace the existing granular activated carbon filter; 6) install a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system; 7) upgrade 6 existing tank sites with new tanks, new booster pumps, site stabilization, replacement of pumps, new paint, piping.
