Cities of Modesto and Turlock would deliver up to 59,000 acre feet per year of recycled water to the Del Puerto Water District (DPWD). Water would be conveyed through a pipeline, located primarily in public right-of-way, crossing the San Joaquin River to the Delta Mendota Canal for conveyance to DPWD customers. Water could also be made available to wildlife refuges. New facilities constructed for the project would be located in Stanislaus County, but the DPWD service area would also include San Joaquin and Merced Counties.
