Document Description
DWR proposes to replace a deteriorated and undersized 36-inch corrugated metal culvert and repair erosion of the collecting canal banks at the culvert inlet and outlet. DWR maintains the collecting canal system as part of the Sacramento River Flood Control Project (SRFCP) in accordance with CA Water Code Section 8361 - (c). Erosion and damage to the culvert were discovered by DWR while performing routine inspections. The existing culvert will be replaced with larger precast cement box culvert. The project will take approximately one month and is with planned to begin May 2014.
