The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is proposing to improve fish passage in Ryan Creek on Route 101 North of the City of Willits in Mendocino County. This mitigation project is a condition of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife permits issued for the Willits Bypass Project, which requires Caltrans to remove barriers to coho salmon at Ryan Creek where it crosses under US Highway 101.
