Document Description
The City of Chico, in compliance with State Law, has prepared an update to the Housing Element of the General Plan. The Draft Housing Element Update is available at the following website (www.chicohousingelement.com). The Housing Element is one of seven mandatory elements to the General Plan and required to be updated every five to eight years. The State has set a June 2014 deadline for adoption of the Housing Element Update. Preparation of the updated Housing Element included regular correspondence and updates with a comprehensive contact list.
