limited to the continued monitoring and removal of invasive aquatic plant infestations of Eurasian watermilfoil (Myrriophyllum spicatum) and curly-leaf pondweed (Potamogeton crispus) intended to mitigate the rapid spread and infestation of the plants on the lake bottom. The project will include removal of invasive vegetation in all suitable habitat areas infested with submerged aquatic plants, typically up to 11 meters in depth. This project in undertaken to prevent the spread of existing invasive plants, detect new infestations, monitor invasive plant populations and eradicate the invasive plant populations in Lake Tahoe and downstream in the Truckee River
