Document Description
The project proposes a Zoning Text Amendment (ordinance) to amend Placer County Code Chapter 17 to add new definitions for "community center","commercial event center" and three categories of "agricultural event center" (small, intermediate, large agricultural event center) to Article 17.04, Section 17.04.030 and to amend Article 17.06, Section 17.06.050(D) to designate the zone districts for such uses. The project also proposes amendments to the individual zone district use tables to conform the same to the proposed changes in Section 17.06.050(D). Event center development and operational standards are proposed to be added to Article 17.56 as Section 17.56.340. The standards include parking, access, minimum parcel size, event size and frequency, noise and hours of operation.
