The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Arvin Community Services District proposes to drill and equip five new municipal water wells and construct two arsenic treatment facilities and connect them to the existing Arvin Community Services District distribution system.
