Document Description
The City of Rialto proposes to construct street improvements along segments of San Bernardino Avenue, Riverside Avenue, Willow Avenue, and the intersection of Willow Avenue and Valley Boulevard in general accordance with the City's Circulation Element. Street improvements include partial widening of San Bernardino, Willow and Riverside Avenues, reconstruction of intersections, and modification of intersection traffic signals. Traffic signals at the intersection of Riverside Avenue/San Bernardino Avenue and Riverside Avenue/Value Center would be modified. A new signal and would be added to the intersection of Willow Avenue/Valley Boulevard. Right-of-way would be acquired along the project alignment. Partial acquisitions are anticipated for 7 parcels. Temporary construction easements would be needed for 9 parcels, where temporary staging is anticipated. Traffic would be accommodated during construction to allow movement through the area. Construction is anticipated to take 8 months.
