Document Description
The project will stabilize and repair an existing timber wall within Wagon Wheel Creek that was constructed in 2017. Project activities will take place over a 500-foot reach of the creek and will consist of the installation of five rip-rap cascades to create a series of energy-dissipating pools from the existing timber wall downstream. Steel sheet piling will be installed in front of the existing timber wall as added protection against undercutting of the wall. The stream channel will be excavated and widened by approximately 10 feet opposite the timber wall, thereby reducing flow velocities.
