Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0118-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, OC Parks.
The project consists of channel improvements involving the installation of energy dissipating and erosion protection structures in the bed bank and channel of Wagon Wheel Creek. The improvement will be installed over an approximately 500’ reach of the Creek and will consist of the following structures: installation of five (5) rip rap cascades to create a series of energy-dissipating pools and installation of steel sheet piling in front of an existing timber wall as added protection against under cutting of the wall.
