Document Description
The applicant is requesting the following actions in order to establish land use designation and zone classification that is compatible with future multifamily development. The project site consists of two noncontiguous parcels (1.99 acres and 0.81 acres) totaling 2.8 acres in size. As proposed as many as 48 multifamily units (34 units and 14 units) would be constructed on the project site. Access would be via Norris Road, which is designated as a "collector" alignment by the Circulation Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan. Water supply and sewage disposal for future residential development would be by the CA Water Service Company and the North of the River Sanitation District, respectively.
