Document Description
The Los Coyotes Band wishes to use the property for development of a Class III gaming facility and related restaurant and retail facilities, convention and entertainment facilities and a hotel. The proposed Barstow casino-hotel project consists of a casino with ~57,070 sf of gaming floor, a 100-room hotel, and associated facilities. Associated facilities would include food and beverage services, retail space, banquet/meeting space, and administration space. Food and beverage facilities would include two full service restaurants, a "Drive-in" restaurant, a buffet, a coffee shop, three service bars, and a lounge bar. Subject to the negotiation of a Class III tribal-state gaming compact, it is projected that the Tribe's gaming facility would contain 1,325 Class III machines and 57 table games (including seven poker tables). In addition, the Tribe may at some point in the future wish to develop ancillary businesses, with the MSA allowing for a Recreational Vehicle Park, theme or amusement park, water park, small-scale amusement park, bowling center, night clubs or bars and entertainment venues.
